Pouches with additional functions (spouts, valves, eurohole, header, etc.)

There is a great variety of additional possibilities to realize special features on pouches:

• Eurohole
The eurohole is produced in one step with the final sealing of the pouch and the die cutting with ultrasonics gives rise to a simultaneous welding of the cutting edges. Besides the positive visual effect by doing so, also the pull-out strength of the eurohole is significantly increased. 

• Spout and aroma valves
In contrast to an aroma valve, the welding of a spout  can be carried out both in an empty pouch (filling over the spout) as well as in a pouch already filled. The welding of both the applications is effectuated in one station only so that the number of necessary station is significantly decreased thanks to the use of ultrasonics. Besides an increased production safety, a further plus for ultrasonic welding is that the welding times are much shorter, enabling thus to have an inline process.

• Headers
The complete module for the handling and welding of headers is a further example for an perfect solution made by TELSONIC. This module is able to apply securely up to 40 headers/min on filled pouches in an inline process.
