Construction of sonotrodes (horns)

The sonotrode (horn) is an accoustic tool inducing ultrasonic vibration into work pieces by applying pressure and oscillating micro-movement.

Our experience in application know-how and FEM-analysis lasting for more than 40 years guarantee a stable and ideal oscillating characteristic of our sonotrodes.

TELSONIC sonotrodes are manufactured from different materials such as steel, aluminium and titanium, and are best suited to all common frequencies of 20/30/35/36/40/50 kHz.

The calculation and construction of sonotrodes is a process at TELSONIC which is carried out fluently and in one step. A precise final inspection of frequency and amplitude is one more important part of our duties – this is not only for standard sonotrodes but especially for customer-specific applications as their quality must match up to the smallest welding dot.
