Ultrasonic oscillations are conveyed via the sonotrode to the cutting tip that has been put on. This allows various materials such as carbon-fibre or rubber products to be cut cleanly. The special hard metal knoves glide effortlessly through the material to be cut, creating a perfect cross section.
