Equiplast Barcelona: Telsonic at the International Plastics and Rubber Event
Equiplast is one of the foremost trade shows in the field of plastics manufacturing and represents a hub for manufacturers from Europe and South America to come together. The event proved a fascinating experience for Telsonic in every respect – one reason being that it afforded the opportunity to discuss ongoing projects with existing clients. Potential clients from a whole host of different industries also took up our invitation to attend; these included the automotive industry (filters), aviation, ultrasonic cutting for the food industry, medical powder screening, metal welding of contact parts, and the packaging industry.
We were highly impressed by the
range of areas in which we received enquiries, demonstrating the huge potential
available in our industrial ultrasonic technology. The focus of our attendance
at the trade show was on providing a forum for technical discussions on
application solutions (that is, providing consultation services for
applications). Spain is one of the countries in which interest in new
ultrasonic processes is on the rise. These include Telsonic's patented
torsional welding system, something we were able to demonstrate using the
TSP750 torsional welding press. The MAG ultrasonic generator – with its proven
features, space-saving installation concept and outstanding productivity – is
particularly in demand
among Spanish equipment manufacturers.
