Ultrasound technology makes breathing masks

Respiratory masks protect against fine dust, smoke or aerosols and, depending on the design, also provide protection against bacterial and viral droplet infections, such as those caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. The commercially available, particle-filtering, folded or molded masksare divided into different protection classes that define the structure of their filter materials.

Today, the production of such respiratory masks employs a wide range of industries to manufacture the required quantities. Ultrasonic technology can make a major contribution to this, because with its help, respiratory masks can be manufactured in a particularly resource-saving, fast and economical way, whether surgical masks, molded maskswith and without valves or reusable masks with exchangeable filter systems.
