Cada 3 años tiene lugar la feria más grande del mundo dentro del sector del procesamiento de plástico: NPE Plastics Showcase. Este encuentro, cuyo origen se remonata al año 1946, ha crecido aún más desde que se trasladó a Orlando, Florida, y acoge actualmente a una media de 2 000 participantes y más de 60 000 visitantes procedentes de más de 20 000 empresas distintas. En una superficie aproximada de 90 000 m², las empresas de los distintos ámbitos del sector presentan sus productos en un entorno en el que aproximadamente el 40 % de los participantes procede de fuera de los estados Unidos. La NPE está organizada por la SPI ("Society of Plastics Industry") y es la única feria internacional del plástico organizada por y para la industria del plástico.
